Product Usage & Care

How often should I apply the MYCP cream during my treatment?

Apply MYCP 3 times a day, approximately 6 hours apart:

  • Morning
  • Afternoon
  • Night

How should I store my facial creams?

Store creams in a cool place like a refrigerator, in a clean container away from food contamination. Cool creams absorb more easily and quickly into the skin.

How do I properly apply the MYCP?

Application Steps:

  1. Clean hands thoroughly
  2. Cleanse face with a GENTLE cleanser (our recommendation is Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser)
  3. Pat semi-dry
  4. Apply MYCP using Q-tips
  5. Gently pat into skin*
  6. Follow with Aquaphor as needed

* Don't rub the cream in; let the skin absorb it.

When and where should I apply Aquaphor?

Apply Aquaphor:

  • Right over the Yellow Cream
  • When feeling tightness, itchiness, or sensitivity
  • Pay special attention to these areas: corner of eyes, sides of nose, and laugh lines
  • As frequently as needed for relief

Care & Precautions

What are the proper hand and face washing techniques during treatment?

Always wash hands thoroughly with soap before touching your face. Wash face gently using only fingers, not a towel. Pat dry, don't rub.

Why shouldn't I share towels during treatment?

Sharing towels can cause infection. Use disposable towels if possible, and only for patting dry.

What activities should I avoid during treatment?

Avoid:

  • Hard physical activities
  • Limited stove use
  • Going to lake, snow, beach, pool, or hikes
  • Sun exposure
  • Laying out in the sun

What should I do if my face feels itchy?

Don't scratch. Gently pat the itchy area and apply a thin layer of Aquaphor.

DO NOT:

• Use additional skincare products
• Perform strenuous activities
• Expose skin to heat/sun
• Pick or scratch skin
• Force peeling
• Squeeze pimples
• Use facial makeup
